The Äskekärrship is the centre piece of our exhibit Vikingr for a reason. It´s Sweden’s only archaeologically excavated and exhibited Viking ship. In this short tour we talk about how the ship was found, examined and finally found its place in the museum’s exhibition. What can be deduced from this pile of “wreck wood”?

Booking

Drop in. We have a limited number of attendees on every tour. We meet in the museum foyer. The tour is included in the ticket for the museum.
