The Museum of Gothenburg´s Study room will answer your questions about ordering images. Here you will find information about image rights, prices and what we can offer you. The Study room is closed due to Corona/Covid 19 but you can always reach us by email.

Using pictures from the collection

You are welcome to search our database Carlotta. The low resolution images are free to download but unfortunately the database is only in Swedish. Don’t hesitate to contact us by email, see address further down the page.

Price

High resolution image file (300 dpi, approximately 50 MB): 300 SEK, for commercial use 1000 SEK extra. The museum does not charge for user fee for the images for materials where the museum has the copyright.

Payment and billing

Payment of the use fee shall take place after publication or by appointment. We accept payment by invoice. We charge no invoice fee.

Delivery

The images are available in digital. The images are sent by mail. The delivery time is 10 business days. For Express delivery 3 days or by appointment – contact the study room for price. Larger orders by appointment.
