Silver wedding anniversary dress
This pale-green dress from 1906 was worn by Gertrud Bratt, née Kjellberg (1861-1935) at the silver wedding anniversary of her marriage to Consul General Adolf Bratt (1849-1934). The full-length dress is made of silk brocade and silk satin and is in two parts, a bodice and a skirt. It is decorated with braiding, silvery glass beads, sequins and rosettes made of bluish-green velvet ribbons. This exclusive silver wedding anniversary dress was sewn at a well-known dress shop in Gothenburg, Ahlbergs modemagasin.
