Silver gifts and commemorative silver
A silver tankard and six silver beakers. The beakers are between 10 cm and 22 cm tall. They weigh from 160 to 500 grams. All of them are gilded inside and around the edges. Some of them have several patterns and forms of ornamentation. Several of the silver beakers were gifts. Inside one is a text that praises a man who saved a girl from drowning. He was a factory worker and the other workers gathered together the money to pay for the gift.The tankard is from 1738.
It stands on feet that look like balls and is partly gilded. There is also a ball above the handle. On the lid is a silver medal. It is a commemorative medal marking the royal wedding in 1680, and shows a picture of the royal couple Karl XI’s (Charles XI’s) and Ulrika Eleonora the Elder. The tankard is 21 cm tall and 21.5 cm wide. It weighs 1.3 kilos.
