Medieval buckle

A silver buckle from the 1200s. The buckle is shaped like a ring with a pin. On the ring are birds and flowers. There are also small tubes to hold decorative glass pieces. Several of the glass pieces have been lost. The buckle is 10.1 cm high and 10.5 cm wide. It weighs 111 grams.The buckle was found in 1931 in a ditch in Spekeröd, below an old sacrificial well.
