This beaker from 1760 belonged to the Society of Journeymen Coopers (Tunnbindaregesällskapet) in Gothenburg. Made of silver, the beaker is in a classic style and decorated with a leaf pattern around the middle. It is 20.5 cm tall and 15 cm wide at the top and weighs half a kilo.

Some parts are gilt, for instance the entire inside surface. Written by the mouth of the beaker are the words “Tunne Bindare Gesellernes Bägare”, that is, “Beaker of the Society of Journeymen Coopers”. The names of 29 artisans are engraved on the beaker.
