There are also 4 and 2 riksdaler riksmynt, which are larger and heavier. When the decimal system was introduced in 1855, and Swedes began counting with 10 as the base, the government decided that 100 öre = 1 riksdaler riksmynt. During the period from 1873 to 1875, riksdaler riksmynt was replaced with kronor.
