Olof
One of the first Swedish coins, a penning (plural: penningar). It is a round silver coin from some time between the years 995 and 1018. The coin is a dark colour. On the obverse (front) is a portrait of Olof Skötkonung, the first Swedish king to coin money. On the reverse is a cross in a circle.The coin is 2.1 cm in diameter and weighs 1.8 grams.
