Tvåkrona from the
time of Oscar II

A round silver coin. It is 3 cm in diameter and weighs 15 g. On the front, Oscar II is depicted in profile. Surrounding him is the text ‘Oscar II King of Sweden and Norway.’ On the back, there is Sweden’s large national coat of arms and Oscar II’s motto ‘Brödrafolkens väl (For the welfare of brotherly peoples). It also states ‘2 kronor’ and the year 1893.
