A round silver coin. It is approximately 2.5 cm in diameter and weighs 7.5 g. On the front, Oscar II is depicted in profile, and around him, it reads ‘Oscar II King of Sweden and Norway.’ On the back, there is Sweden’s large national coat of arms and Oscar II’s motto ‘For the welfare of brotherly peoples.’ It also states ‘1 krona’ and the year 1898.
