A round copper coin. On the obverse(front) are a crown and the date 1715. On the reverse is stamped “1 Daler S.M.”, which means 1 daler silver coin. However, it is not a silver coin; it is made of copper and is what was called a nödmynt (emergency coin). It is the first in the large series of these emergency coins that were struck up to and including 1719.The coin is round and just over 2 centimetres in size. It weighs 3.7 grams.
