Gustav vasa Gyllen

Two round silver coins called a gyllen. On the obverse (front) is a portrait of Gustav Vasa wearing armour and a cape and with his crown, sword and sceptre. One of the coins is worn and only the outline is visible. On the reverse is Sweden’s greater national coat of arms with lions and three crowns. It also states that the coin was made in 1528 but this is probably not true. Both are later copies. The coins are about 4 cm in diameter and weigh about 24 grams.
