Wall calendar
A wall calendar made of cardboard, likely manufactured in the latter part of the 19th century. The calendar is rectangular, 30 cm tall and 23.5 cm wide, with printed text in blue and red. It is designed to be used over several years and therefore has a table with weekday numbers and years, as well as a window for a rotating cardboard disc. The rotating cardboard disc contains the names of the weekdays and information about the number of days in each month. Along the edges of the calendar are various advertising texts for the publisher Hellman & Co, Stockholm. It was printed by Centraltryckeriet, Stockholm, and belonged to bank director Karl Strömvall, who passed away in 1911. The calendar was acquired by the City Museum in 1975 as a gift from engineer Henry Strömvall, son of the aforementioned Karl.
