Seal stamp
A seal stamp depicting the seal of the Commandant of Gothenburg. The stamp handle is rounded at the top and made of wood. The shaft is wood-colored while the lower part containing the seal itself is made of metal. The seal reads “Götheborgs comendants sigill” (The seal of the Commandant of Gothenburg). The stamp was acquired by the City Museum in 1908 as a gift from Count Fredrik Wachtmeister.
