Match box
A paper matchbox with a wooden drawer. On two of the long sides, there are striking surfaces used to light the matches. The label on the top reads “Spill matches without sulfur and phosphorus. Ignite against the box’s striking surface.” The label on the matchbox is beige with black print. It is decorated with four medals and four small elves, each holding a match. There are no matches in the drawer. The matchbox was acquired by the City Museum in 1971 as a gift from the artist Stig Allan Agroth, Gothenburg.
