Banknote wallet

A bag, or portfolio, from the trading firm A. Magnus & Co, located at Magasinsgatan 24, Gothenburg. The bag is made of leather and has three compartments for bills and similar items. On the inside of the lid, it reads A.M. & Co, Magasinsgatan 24. The bag was manufactured during the late 1800s. It measures 22 cm in length and 15 cm in width. Its weight is 191 grams. It was acquired by the City Museum in November 1974 as a gift from the wholesalers Einar and Leif Henriques, Gothenburg.
